Order | Vid Title | Vidder(s) | Fandom | Artist | Runtime | Why I chose it | link to vid |
| Let's Get It Started | bessyboo | Star Wars | The Black Eyed Peas | 03:38 | Because I hate clipping with a burning intensity only rivaled by the sun, this is the only vid I've made for the Star Wars TV shows (a glaring hole in my fandom output), but I'm really proud of the editing work in it; I think it's some of my strongest. | vid on AO3 |
| You and Me (and Him) | bessyboo | Star Wars | Plain White T's | 02:18 | OT3s are one of my big Fandom Brands™, and this particular OT3 is one of my absolute all-time faves. I like the way I somewhat recontextualized the song through loopholes in plural pronouns in the English language.

| It's The Little Things | bessyboo | Buzzfeed Unsolved | "Company" Cast (2006 Broadway Revival) | 02:31 | This is, I think, one of my strongest stylistic matches of music to fandom. I think this vid really strongly shows off my sense of humor. | vid on AO3 |
| Blank Space | bessyboo & moonling | Doctor Who | Taylor Swift | 03:57 | Moonling & I started talking about this vid back when this song came out in 2014, so this one had a long cooking time, and I think it shows. I'm proud of the momemtum build in this vid, and also the technical backend of combining 50+ years of footage of varying technical specs. | vid on AO3 |
| Anything Goes | bessyboo | Baseball RPF/Pitch | Lady Gaga & Tony Bennett | 02:40 | Baseball is super important to me, and I actually spent quite a bit of time talking with my dad about baseball history as research for this vid, which was pretty rewarding in and of itself. I'm also very pleased with how the audio editing (both the editing of the actual music, which was quite hard with jazz instrumentals! and the integration of the play-by-play commetary on the video clips in the break) turned out. Plus, this list just wouldn't feel complete without SPORPS. | vid on AO3 |
| Nebulae | bessyboo | Hidden Figures | Georgia Bartlett-McNeil | 01:57 | This vid was such a stretch for me, because high-concept metaphorical thinking doesn't really come naturally to me, but everything in this vid came together exactly as I wanted it to. It's absolutely my most successful concept-to-execution vid. It's also some of my strongest visual work, imo. | vid on AO3 |
| She's A Rebel | bessyboo | Star Wars | Green Day | 02:03 | This vidshow would not be complete without this vid. A celebrity death has never affected me the way Carrie Fisher's has—continues to, to this day—and Princess Leia as a character has been deeply important to me for decades. This vid is reflection of those feelings, tied up in the timely Vividcon challenge theme of "Resistance". | vid on AO3 |
| Change You Like A Remix | bessyboo | The LEGO Franchise | Fall Out Boy | 04:12 | I came out of the theater after watching The LEGO Movie in early 2014 with this vid already half-formed in my head, making it the longest concept-to-final-product vid on this list. It was absolutely a bucket list vid for me, and I'm pleased with how it came out. | vid on AO3 |
| they're good dogs Brent | bessyboo & platinumvampyr | @dog_rates | Laurel Canyon Animal Company | 03:21 | The vid that "broke Festivids" (--metatxt, 2018), and my most popular vid by AO3 stats, this vid really shows off my technical chops, since it was so heavily made using AfterEffects. | vid on AO3 |
| Let's Get Into The Theories | bessyboo | Buzzfeed Unsolved | "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" Cast | 02:27 | This one ended up coming together well and I think it's just a fun vid that I'm happy with. | vid on AO3 |
| How Far I'll Go | bessyboo | Star Wars | Auli'i Cravalho ("Moana" Soundtrack) | 02:43 | This vid is kind of...quiet, by my standards, I feel. But it remains one of my more popular ones, and while part of that is the Disney+Star Wars combination, I'm also pleased with how cohesively this vid came together, like, conceptually. Multiple people have commented that they got so caught up in the desert part that by the time they got to the end they FORGOT that Luke and Rey actually meet at the end of TFA, and I consider that to be a sign that this vid was successful. | vid on AO3 |
| No One Is Alone | bessyboo | Star Wars | "Into The Woods" Cast (2002 Broadway Revival) | 03:23 | This is the id-iest vid on this list. This is the vid that I couldn't have made as a fourteen-year-old, because the Sequels didn't exist so there weren't yet movies about Jaina and Jacen Solo, and I was still figuring out how things like aspect ratio worked, but if this vidshow is an expression of ME as a person as shown through my vidding, for better or worse, this vid is the purest form of that. | vid on AO3 |
| Timber | bessyboo | Star Wars | Pitbull ft. Kesha | 03:24 | It only feels right to close with what is both by FAR my most popular vid on YouTube, and also the first vid I made after a decade-long vidding hiatus. It's still one of my favorite vids I've ever made. | vid on AO3 |
